Crickets (Gryllidae) are insects related to bush crickets, and, more distantly, to grasshoppers. The Gryllidae have mainly cylindrical bodies, round heads, and long antennae. Behind the head is a smooth, robust pronotum. 50 crickets contains food to sustain the 3/4" crickets for 5-10 days. 500 count and 1000 count do not contain food and are bulk insects.
